You hear it everyday...I
would love to work from home...It must be nice...I wish I could work
from home. Well, you can...anyone can, but you must be disciplined.
Whether it's having your own home-based business or working for a
company from home, you must be self-disciplined, organized, and
determined for it to work successfully. I started gearing up to the
idea of having my own business in the early 2000s while still working
outside the home. I started getting my office together, business
cards, marketing tools, and more and during my time off I spent it
marketing and trying to build my client base. On some days I hit the
pavement giving out packets that I made up full of information on my
services and more and did follow-up calls to those businesses. Once
I felt that I was ready to take that chance, I made the move to fully
working out of my home office. I've owned and operated a home-based
business now since 2006 and I've worked hard and been determined to
make it my very own.
You HAVE to remember your
WHY when you are working towards any goal...your reason for even
doing it. It WILL be your strength through it all because as we
know, there will be ups and downs, but with a little persistence and
determination you can do it. You just can't give up.
It feels great to work
from home. For some, it's a way to maintain flexibility with their
schedule of work and family. There are many companies that hire

business opportunities for you as well. Either way, there must be
those things that I told you earlier (self-discipline, organization,
determination, and remember your WHY) in order for it to work and for
you to be able to give your very best.
